It draws on the experience of teachers and learners to connect to learners needing entrepreneurial skills; to create new futures; and to help teachers addressing this need by fostering an entrepreneurial ecology. It also bridges the gap between a school and entrepreneurial mindset drawing on the experience of a wide variety of entrepreneurs.

LEEN starts from the learners’ experience in secondary education schools situated in regions struggling with unemployment due to a different economic make-up (industries being re-located, parents working abroad, MacJobs) and in deprived urban areas. It also explicitly embraces those involved in educating young people who may experience additional disadvantages e.g through physical or learning disabilities in order to connect to the society’s urgency for an entrepreneurial mindset and ecology.
