“Imagine you’re planning a gap year. Obviously you don’t have enough money to pay for the whole year. You’ve already pitched your journey to your parents and grandparents and aunties and uncles, but still you don’t have enough money. So you plan to work there. How will you find out more about jobs for travellers? Which steps do you have take to make sure you have enough money? And how will you know you have enough money?”

“Tom really likes exploring the world. He enjoys meeting people and learning about other cultures, being challenged all the time. So after his term as an exchange student he decides to take a gap year. But surprise, surprise! Europe doesn’t fund this! Tom shows his maps to his parents, tells stories about his future life to his grandparents and organises a huge party for friends and family. But he realises that he still will have to work this time. Help Tom to create a plan so he can pay for his gap year.”
