Triin Noorkõiv is a founder of several nationwide educational initiatives and is currently working on a few more.

She is a former adviser and a chief expert in the Ministry of Education and Research in Estonia. Her experience as a teacher continues to inspire her work to enable more meaningful learning to more students.

At the conference, Triin will share with us the experience of encouraging interaction between schools and the rest of the society. It may all start with no more and no less than one school lesson, as shows the case of ‘Back to School’ initiative in Estonia. The challenges and goals of present day education, including contributing to the growth of entrepreneurial new generation, cannot be tackled by educators alone. How might we invite different stakeholders to revisit and play their role – parents, teachers, civil society organisations, universities, businesses and anyone else who is willing to contribute?
