LEEN ambassadors Romania:

Serban PiticSERBAN PITIC began his career in public speaking and debate still at high school, when he participated in numerous national and international competitions, including World Debate Championship. Among its results are the titles of vice-champion in international debates and vice-champion in public speaking, both obtained in 2007 and his presence in the World Cup final debate for students in 2013.

Since 2007, Serban is in charge of training in debates, communication and persuasion, delivering over 100 trainings and workshops to students and teachers on topics related to public speaking, critical thinking, economy and training of trainers.
Serban is coach of the Romanian National Debate team and he is a champion to ESL Oxford IV.

 

Nae SovaialaNAE ȘOVĂIALĂ is an open person whose high level of energy and analytical vision of life combined with his effervescent style of training gives him an charismatic presence essential to any trainer.

He began his competitive career nine years ago and since then has been actively involved in promoting academic debate. At 18s he won the European Debate Championship and he won the award for best European speaker. Then, at 21, after two participations at the World Debate, he became the youngest coach of the Romanian National debate team.

Nae continues his teaching career and now supporting argumentation and dance courses, offering team building for various organizations and coordinating more than 200 teachers, debate coaches in the program ”Young people debate”.

 

LEEN ambassador Portugal: Pedro Silva

Pedro has a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering and enrolled in the Order of Technical Engineers under No. 26216. He is registered in the Directorate General of Energy under No. 36199 from 07/17/1997.

He did a post-graduation on the theme Quality Control Engineering and is now finishing his Master Degree in Industrial Management Engineering, under the theme “Energy Management of Schools”.

He is CEO of J.Carvalho da Silva & Filhos, Lda, in the areas of Electricity, Telecommunications, Automation and Design and since 1998 he is an ICT teacher. He is constantly updating of his competences, both professionally and personally.
